The A/C was working last summer and fall . Now the compressor does with climate control on the lowest temp setting (on a hot day ) . Where do I start ?

A complete description of the problem is a good place to start.

If you are attempting to say that the compressor does not engage, checking the refrigerant level would be logical thing to do.

First start with proofreading your posts.... LOL
Worting is one of the worst things that can happen to any machine.
When you are writing your post look at anything which has a red line under it...
We will try to help you if you will try to help us.

Does it work with the climate control on the higher settings ?
Only not working on the lowest setting ?
You have to work with us.... remember, we are working blind.. only good descriptions on your part will make it possible for us to help with reasonable speed and least cost.
