300SD Rear seat head rest
Does anyone know if the gear shift selector console in my 1985 300SD have a light, cuz sometimes at night its difficult to know exactly what gear I'm selecting.
I saw the post of the new 1983 300SD, I think its bit to high, he's not going to get that much. However, I noticed that the rear seat has headrests and they really look cool. Would it be difficult to have these installed in my 300SD. |

Well, my '80SD and '87SDL have a shift lever light so I think the years in between would have a light.

The easiest way to add rear headrests is to find a rear seat back that has headrests.

My 81 has rear seat headrests. It was optional that year. You will definitely need a donor back seat. It will have all the brackets, supports, etc. Also, the back seat headrests are at a different angle that the front. It really does add to the back seat to have them, or at least I think so.
Good luck!
