Amber Fog lights. One is brighter!
Why is one brighter than the other? is this standard? if not what can be done?

Unless the problem is with the lenses or reflectors, installing two new H3 bulbs of the same type should solve the problem.

Another simple check. Swap the light bulbs first and see whether the brightness goes with the bulb. If they do then do what Tangofox said. If not then you have other issues, like reflector, headlight door opaqueness or bad contacts.

alternatively the fog bulb 'domes', which are amber and have chrome plating on them, often get dirty from the inside, due to a leak in the headlight somewhere, causing dust to get in. remove the headlight door, grab the dome and remove it, and clean the domes first

Removing the headlight door should not reveal anything that is removable by "grabbing."

Maybe you could post a picture of this "dome." I have no idea what you are talking about.

Yeah, grab is not the term I would use, once the door is removed you'll see a couple (three?) of screws that hold a bezel that secures the headlight.

Fog Lights
Ok here is a dumb question...how do you turn the fog light on??? Mine must both be burned out, because I have never seen them on yet.

With the headlights "on" and low beam selected, pull the rotary light switch "out."
