There part number is 5119K11 for 1/8" ID, 1/4" OD viton. $3.22/ft

Greaseworks is cheaper at $3/ft - http://www.greaseworks.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=27_43_45&products_id=214
They also have a injector return line kit with a viton endcap, as well as kits for the whole car - http://www.greaseworks.com/store/index.php?cPath=27_41

Does the thin viton work just as well as the thicker viton for return lines?

I have the thin om the 82 and it is somewhat delicate if you have to remove it more than once. I have had it split when trying to reattach it after installing injectors.

The thin stuff isn't a durable. It will work but it's not going to last nearly as long. I've had the thicker walled stuff on my wagon for nearly 4 years with no issues.

It should not be reused without cutting off the ends to expose fresh hose (the part that was attached to a nipple because the nipple expands the hose.
If the hose was long enough to begin with, reused Viton hose will fit fine, no leaks. Trouble is most lengths are short so that if you cut it off it is too short to reuse. I learned this the hard way.

Viton lines

My Viton fuel injector return lines were installed about three years ago, and when trying to remove them the other day, every single one broke instead of sliding off the nipple--not sure if that's usual?? Cleaning them took a tedious while and I wasted about 20 minutes per injector before using the "special tool" (chenille wire) shown below--worked much faster to clean off the sticky Viton.

The kit for my car is $114.50 I think I'll just put my own together.

Viton is expensive material.
The injector return lines kit's aren't nearly that expensive.
I don't use the pure viton hoses, I use the viton lined SAE90R9 hose. Much cheaper and more durable.

Source and p/n for that SAE hose?

Im not looking to go grease/bio, but my 82 has an idle shake, especially when hot, and everything is perfect. So what might not be perfect in my view is the 30 yo hoses...

Or am I better off ordering the entire set of another material?

Do you have a cigar hose or a straight hose for the return from the fuel filter to the steel line? A straight hose can sometimes cause odd pulsing noises or feelings. The injector return lines can also cause a little rough idle if the have collapsed inside and cause restriction. But usually rough idle is not hose related. It's injectors, valves, compression, rack damper, or filters.

The viton lined hose part number is SAE30R9 it's stamp right one the hose. It's sold at many auto parts store or hydraulic shops. Greaseworks also sells it in bulk.

SAE90R9 hose; is carried by any of the Auto Parts Chain Stores as Fuel Injection Hose and the SAE number is on the Hose.
The GoodYear version has a blue lining inside.

down to $2.70 ft. Just for my edification, this replaces the braided return lines on my OM606.910? The ones that are under the plastic head cover? Mine is leaking, the one that pokes out from under the cover in the front and I want to replace them all. How much do I need for this? Anything else required (hose clamps)? Its been awhile since I've had it apart to recall.

Yup it will work on 61x and 60x engines. Get about 5ft and and end cap and you'll be set. No clamps needed.
