What's that plate on the engine the transmission attaches to called?
It's behind the flywheel... where the tach sensor is in 85s. It's descriptively called a "flange" (6170110545) in the EPC
Question 2 is how many/what kind/where to get the bolts to attach it.

I always called them an adaptor plate.

To undo the bolts you (logically really) need the tranny removed and the flywheel or flex plate removed. Then its a piece of cake.
