Pacific Northwest GTG..............July 17, 2010

We need get a plan in the works for a NW United States [Washington Oregon Idaho] GTG for 2010. If anyone has suggestions please post them here. There are some very senic areas around Puget Sound, Washington which would be a central point... Lets just get something planned so we can advertise it!

I know Brian and DJ did a great job last year at the PNW GTG in McMinnville,Ore...

Lets get something planned!

Ian

I'm in. Is somebody else organizing it this year?

We could all go kart racing at sykart in Tukwila. www.sykart.com

I go to the Tigard OR location every month or so. Those Karts are quick!

BRIAN! Good to see you on the board man! Where you been? Somebody posted a thread about your SD being up for sale. I was beginning to think you'd left the fold for good...

I'm in. I'd prefer sometime in July as I am a field biologist and my schedule is very hectic from April until the end of June, I'm basically away from home 75% of the time during those months. It would also be more likely that we don't get rained on if we wait till then.

I'd like to be in on this. July is a long way off though, maybe we should have one sooner and then one later?

I'm game for coming down from BC as long as the GTG isn't too far south...

If the plan to do this is sometime in July, then I'm in. Between now and then I'll be pretty busy most weekends. I'm doing a diesel conversion on one Jeep, I need to install my winch and body armor onto another, and the engine in my F250 needs to be swapped/rebuilt. Of course that's all on top of regular maintenance, making bio, and working for a living...

With a little luck and a lot of hard work I should about have my head back above water by July...

They weather is pretty iffy as we all know in the spring time in the PNW. If we are gonna drive up St Helens, we are gonna want a nice day for a good view. I know July is far off, but this also allows for any students to make it. I know in the past we've had at least one student.

I'm hopefully in, assuming that work or becoming a student again doesn't interfere!
