Paul Padgett in St Louis has run ads for used Mercedes in Hemmings for many years. Anyone have any experience with him to report?

I have lived near St. Louis for 45 years, have owned 3 MB diesels, and am constantly looking for others. I have never heard of him. Not that that's a bad thing, just a fact.

I believe Hemmings keeps a list of the bad guys and won't place ads if they have a number of complaints

Paul Padget runs a used car place here in Cincinnati, not St. Louis. I've been over to his place a number of times to see what he has for sale.

Paul seems to be a good guy, he certainly is knowledgeable and friendly.

Personally, I would have no problem buying from him, if he had the car I wanted. Before he sells them, he generally has them gone over by the
mechanics at Precision Motorcars (where Aaron, the moderator of one of the forums here has worked on occasion). Precision does great work.

So there you have it.
