84 330td wagon slow slow almost dead taking off

While driving my 84 300td wagon lately I've noticed how little power I have when taking off. It seems to take a while to get going and moves very slowly. Accelerator pedal is a little stiff. Would lubricating it take care of the problem? I sometimes have to pump the acclerator pedal. Any suggestions as to why I have this loss of power taking off? I changed the 2 fuel filters and air cleaner the other day.... The car is great once I get passed 15 km/hr and it doesn't always do it. But it still takes off like a tank all the time...
