Re-chroming
Does anyone know of a source for re-chroming a W123 aluminum bumper? Preferably within a day's drive of W PA. My 85 300D is in TX being repaired and the guy repairing it can have the bumper straightened but to re-chrome it, he would have to send it to CA and it would take about a month. I am in W PA and will be driving from the DFW area to SW PA during the week of 8/16. I am thinking that I could drive back with the bumper straightened and have it re-chromed in the NE somewhere if there is a shop that can do it.
Thanks for any suggestions. Richard
