How to remove ignition switch

I have a 1971 220d with a bad ignition switch. I have removed the gauge cluster but cannot figure out how to remove the ignition switch/ lock. Any help would be appreciated.

In this tutorial the key is broken and the other half is in the lock, but it should give you an idea more or less. It's not the same model either.
