Its very disappointing that the forum has a regular member who behaves like that.
At the fear of getting an infraction, I think that when ever he posts a message I will post back asking him if he has resolved this matter in a fair manner. If he sees that we all have loooooong memories, he may lift his behavior or vannish for good.
I suspect he is monitoring this thread as a guest.

Paypal does have its limitations, for sure. By design, just like Ebay. The Frenchman who founded Ebay just wanted to set up a world-wide venue for selling goods from everywhere, to drop prices and make markets available.

He envisioned Ebay as a digital market where he makes money selling you "space" to put your "table of goods."

The guy who invented Paypal did the same. He charges messenger fees for carrying the payment from point A to point B.

These are their services, slightly embellished to suck more more money out of buyers and sellers.

As far as products, if you can't see it in person, then it's up to you, as the buyer, to get as much info as possible.

For some parts I wait a long time before I buy, especially from some sources.

I also have collected a file of people and addresses that are untrustworthy, unreliable or scammers, on eleven different websites and hobby lists. Sadly only one scammer is outside the US, he is in Ukraine. But maybe I would find more if I lived in the other countries.

Why am I not over suprised at who the seller is. Are you sure it was not damaged in shipping?

The major bend in the bumper was probably from the shipping but what he did was tape two glass boxes together to make them long enough and wrapped a ton of tape around them middle. The bumper was unpadded, unwrapped, no protection at all. His negligence is why it has the major bend however the dents and the cracks in the chrome and the nasty stains and spots in the chrome couldn't have happened in the box.

Sev Attarian, thanks for being a poor businessman, buy your wife something nice with my $100.
Why am I not surprised? This guy was banned in 190Rev from what I've read online. Knowing this and since he offered to sell me something, I just thought to post elsewhere and I got the part I was looking for, for almost FREE.

I don't think he even has a wife

ironic

I bought a set of 126 euro headlights with corners, and he ended up sending me 2 driver side corners.

In his defense, everything else was decent.

I didnt really care, but I sent him an email anyways.

Never got a reply.

Good to know this. Where is he located? He does not reveal it in his user info. Does he show up at any GTGs?

Just did a Google search on his name and a number of hits come up for Ripoff Report entries. Looks like he is from CA unless there are two people with the same name ripping people off on EBay and auction sites. Looks like it is his MO.

I have been ripped off at times in the past, and often it is not worth the time and energy to fight with a scumbag. But the one thing that ultimately comes to my mind is the following: "Vengeance is mine, says the Lord, I will repay."

It will all work out in the end. I do not need to do anything but be honest and forthright. The dollars gained or lost will be nothing compared to the real rewards of treating others according to our conscience. Not that that is why we live that way, for the rewards, it is just the right way to live.

Richard

He outta be tarred and feathered if you ask me! Traded his integrity for $100...what a shame. This certainly trumps anything good he has to offer to the forum...boot 'em!

Apparently he has no integrity so sells nothing for a few dollars. Perhaps he'll end up homeless on the streets of LA.

Nate,
If you verbal a member or do some thing like that, & some one complains, you get a nasty email from a moderator & some times if you have been bad enough you get an infraction. They last for 6 months & if you get enough of them you get banned.i you look at the rules for posting its all explained. Look in the top right corner of Junkmans post, you will see he has had a slap on the wrist.
Sorry to use you as an example Junkman, its just that your post was there.

Interestingly, our resident moderator has done a sweep through the forum & left this thread open & untouched. I think that has been a good call on his part!!! Thank You Brian.

+1 for never buying from this guy again. I run whenever I see his stuff on fleabay.

He convinced me to stop trying to find a used blower motor for Betty. I will say, that brand new Behr unit blew better than anything else I've ever had.
