How to bleed air from radiator/cooling system

i just replace the Thermostat n flush the coolant by opening the screw from bottom of the radiator , i did a quick start when the Radiator screw n thermostat was open to c if i can get more coolant out but nothing out.
so i put thermostat n closed the screw. i start it n the temp is going up but no Heat inside, blowing cold air n it seams like coolant is not circulating.
Temp goes high n the 2 fans in front turns on.
how do i bleed air ???
is it possible i broke the water pump
