URGENT: Block heater connection OM603 Location

I am in need of a picture to show me where to plug this bloody thing in

It's on the right side of the engine block, near the coolant drain. There is a plastic cap screwed over the connector. Covered in oil and dirt it may look like just another part of the block. Once you locate it and wipe it off it can be unscrewed with pipe pliers and removed. The cord for the block heater plugs into the connector and its hood then screws into the threads that the plastic cap was in.

on the side under the turbo and by the motor mount, slightly aft. Keep looking.

naw it's a freeze plug from what I recall. That would put it above the oil pan and below the header. Again.. I think

Yup, midway between the oil pan and cylinder head. Below the manifolds.

if you can't find it...

Throw a shop light under the engine(on ground under oil pan) and cover the hood with a blanket for the night.

A halogen multi hundred watt lamp would work well for that.

Low on the block but above the oil pan, and towards the rear of the block. The coolant drain is, of course low on the block and the block heater is on about the same level. Sorry I never took a picture of that area. You have to access it from under the car, reaching up.
