Valve wrenches, a drip tube, and spring compressor are the only things I haven't been able to get by without to date. I'm either lucky, or very good at improvising.

Those need to be 'Hazet' vise grips to be genuine MBZ tools...

The only one I can think of is my tranny and diff wrench.....14mm hex with odd shaped handle. I have had it since my fintails in the seventies.

I have some tools I bought to work on benzes but are not specific only like my hammer impact wrench.

I don't have a list if them but I have easily over 20. (I did not count Home Made Tools.)
Over the years I bought several "Lots" of Mercedes Tools and I tend to sell off enough of them to pay for the initial cost of the Lot and after that take little intrest in selling the rest.

The majority of the Tools I have forgotten about are for Gassers.

The good news is that I notice on eBay there is less used Mercedes Special Tools for sale and they are costing more.

Home made valve wrenches
Injector sockets (I prefer the cheap open end I ground down)
Stock Tool pouches in both cars
Oil changing wrench (again, I prefer generic tools for this)
Pair of Dash pulls
3 123 factory manuals, printed in 1982
A few more MB branded Hazet sockets and wrenches that I haven't had to use, yet

There were 3 wrenches under the spare tire when I bought my 300CD. I had 'em for about 3 years before I found out they were valve adjustment wrenchs. (Why does one wrench have a longer handle?) I've made the odd tool as needed. Not many, tho. I made a socket for removing nozzles. I've used that "a lot" at the local 'Ecology auto wreckers" and have about 150 shims for said nozzles. ( I got at a yard sale, an oooold Bacharach nozzle tester for 5 bucks.)

The shorter handled 14mm Valve Wrench is for a different Vehicle.

However, the short one is handy on the last Cylinder where when you are trying to adjust the longer Wrench handle sometimes ends up against the Fire Wall.
