That's on my list of things to do in my signature car. That and an over aggressive column lock are the only things wrong with it.

Great service, great guy!! His repair of my Cruise amp has made my life worth living again!! (there's only a little bit of exaggeration in that sentence as I use the cruise more than any other person I know)

.. Couple of cruise amps sitting around here as spares... May or may not require service but maybe worth a quick try as swap inreplacement trial.
Or jamesdean can have 'em for free 'cept the shipping to fiddle with. Just trying to keep schtuff from going to the crusher soon.

Sweet will most likely take you up on that! When I go on my trip in a few weeks, I was thinking of grabbing the harness and everything off a car in the JY....Another thing in my future, is to install an ac system in the car too...

You may have a ignition tumbler which is just about to fail, or a column lock just about to fail. In either case, I'd recommend you fix it now. If you can turn the key, you can replace either or both without too much drama. Once either component totally fails, the drama and cost of repair go up dramatically.
