desperately seeking oilpump for '77-'81 w123, 5cyl non turbo

buddy of mine tore up his oil pan during the recent floods, stranded 300 miles from home he is desperately seeking an oil pump for an early '77-'81 w123, 5cyl non turbo.

this pump is different than a 240D and the 300D turbo.

any leads to a new or used one are appreciated!

Its probably the base part with the oil pick up he needs. They are cheap. I have replaced a couple, just got genuine MB part. It would help if he said where the friend was with the car.

Best you get him to be more specific about what he needs. He probably needs a pan as well.
If you are looking at the junk yards, remember the na has a different system to a turbo.

If he wants the whole pump you can get them, they cost about 400 euros for the whole pump assembly... non dealer bit. Dealer price was closer to 1000 euros if I remember correctly.

If you only need the rubber suction bit at the bottom they can be found on the febi online parts database (www.febi.com).

Best to recalculate your fuel milage several times. Do you have an automatic as well? Forty miles per gallon is usually only available on ebay cars. Not only are they more fuel efficient than the cars on our site they also tend to last forever as well.

If you can get 30-32 mpg on the highway you are high normal. Plus you are not going to go a million miles either.
