Just woke up. Merry Christmas.

After brunch, I will open the presents including the camera and take some pictures.

you can hit the post reply button, and below your text field you use the manage attachment button to upload the pictures. instructions
likely your new camera uses high megapixel images... too big to upload. for those, you need to either setup a photobucket or imageshack or gmail's picassa account, and then use that site to upload the image, then use the yellow square icon above the text field to paste the picture's location.
pretty easy once you've done it.

hmm. pics should not take much time to upload. 65kb limit means even at dial up speeds, the pics should take perhaps, 2 minutes to upload. I really wonder what problems you are having with this.
may I recommend as a next picture, the exterior of the car? you know you don't have to post for each pic, you can add up to 5 pictures to each post.
it's good to see progress though.

Something is rotten in denmark, if the car was garage kept, those needles would be oranger then they are now...

There is something not right with the speedo. It doesnt go high enough & the change points are low. Can some one with a CD comment please? Maybe a 240 speedo?
Given what has been on the BW forum, I have to think it maybe time to say we are being taken for a ride.
If I am shown to be wrong then I will apologize.

Actually, it is the correct 85 mph speedo for a early 300D/CD/TD. My 82 300D originally had one, they changed to the 125 mph speedo in 83.

No comment on the validity of the rest of the thread.

Both my 300D's (1980 & 84) have 180 km/hr speedos. Those low change points suggest a very slow top speed.
Anyway its been nearly a month since he posted on BW & there is 7 pages of requests for a pic. One would expect a pic of the outside first.
