This may be something to do with voltage and/or the K40 relay based on the engine dieing while being driven.
You can monitor voltage after its started using the CCU. Press and hold REST for 5 secs, use AUTO buttons to toggle to screen 24. Ought to be +13-13.5V after the GP timer circut turns off.
A high end scanner will tell you what the trans story is; P0700 on OBDii is generic.
