This is perhaps a very unusual post, but I took our 98 E300 out onto VIR's full course yesterday for a few laps. I wanted to see what it was like on a track I am very familiar with. As I was about to go out, 2 friends followed me and a third slapped a camera on the rear window.

The climbing esses sure look funny when viewed backwards! Once you came around oak tree, you just took off! How is it you managed to get so far ahead of the audi on the back straight? There's no way your E300 is faster than a new audi. Also, why no passing? Seemed like a few spots where an arm out the window would've been appropriate. Nice quality video though!
