I have a friend here on NC's outer banks that has a 300CD he wants to get rid of. Mechanically its in pretty good shape, even with over 300K on the odo. The car has been wet inside from leaks, not flooding, & he's got all the carpet, etc. out of it.

Interior is fair, seats are OK, dash has cracks, headliner sagging a little. It's charcoal in color; blue interior, wheels OK. He's go a little body damage on the driver's rear quarter & some of the trim is either missing (in the trunk) or falling off. It has *real* euro headlights in good shape. Passenger side window blew out a couple of months ago, so that glass is missing. Not sure, but I think it's got a trailer hitch, but he doesn't tow with it.

Car runs well, 617 turbo sounds great. It is certainly drivable, even with the passenger window missing. I think it's a 84 model but need to confirm.
Can get some pics for you if interested.

I know NC is quite the trip from FL, but for $1200 it would either make someone a good fixer or parts car. PM me if you are interested & I"ll hook you two up.

sure, if it turns up a 5K car for $200 I will galdly pay a fee...

There is a 77 300cd in the pull a part in New Orleans. It's a drive from Tampa but it had the windows yesterday. It was a very clean car too.

Is it CD specific? Some listings for windshields for CD also.

Dag, 1200 is steep for me as you've described it, but I might wanna look it over sometime.
I go out to the beach pretty often, I may trek up to the banks to catch a peek if it's still available then. pm some info to me!

I've got an 83 300CD with the drivers glass busted out that I am looking for but I assumed the windshields were the same as a sedan. Guess not, huh?

I have a 83 300cd in Port St. Lucie with a good engine, trans, good glass, I just have toooo many vehicles. Just had the IP calibrated at a Bosch center. Looking for 1,000. It will have to be towed or put on a flatbed. I also have a 116, a s420, and a 126 300sd. Just sold my 82 300td wagon with 430,000 on it. My wife says I have to get rid of my toys.
