Hanomag tractor pictures

In the middle of a children's theme park in Holland I found something that might interest you diesel lovers.

It is a Hanomag tractor - with lots of nice Bosch bits on it - some of which have very familiar looking shapes.

Edit:- Sorry can't get the pictures to link to picasa...

I'll do it the old way

I don't think I've seen such a short wheelbase.

Wheelie bars for sure on that one!

I like the front fenders too. Pretty cool. It appears to be in pretty good condition.

It does indeed seem to be in pretty good condition. I was pretty taken with it - it had a nice solid feel to it. Proper engineering - designed to last forever. Even the switches that were remaining on the control panel still had the "good clunk" after years of use and then years of kids playing farmer...

Army,
Did you do a quick disassemble while no one was watching?

Its surprising that no one has ratted parts off it!!

I'd love to work on it and get it going again... next time I'll take the tool kit - hide spanners in the children's rucksacks...

hanomag make all sorts of equipment.
I recon if you gave it a bleed & a sniff of wd40 it would probably fire into life.
800rpm is probably its red line.
Around 20hp
I can just imagine Mrs Army trying to explain to the PD that her husband meant no wrong when he drove it through the fence & headed home.

Wow Chad. That tractor with the cabin would not work here. You'd cook in that sucker on a hot summer day.

that bubble view sure would get some sunburn on ya... but it's likely air conditioned. all the enclosed cab tractors I've worked with were A/C equipped.
