replacement plastic tabs on wood trim?

Im refinishing the wood trim on my car. Pulled the trim and discovered that most of the plastic "J" (or "L" shaped?) plastic brackets are broken (which explains why the trim was so loose). Anyone knows about where to get replacements for these?

I'll second this

I am reglueing the trim on my late w123 and am wondering the same thing.

The center piece, over the switch panel has lost these tabs and as it has just slightly bowed out at each end, there is no way to just glue it back in place unless I rig up some sort of frame to press it firmly into place while I do so....

Mine was bowed as well. When I popped it out and looked at it sideways, I could see that the metal backing was bowed and the wood was also pulling away from the metal as the glue was dried up. I removed the wood from the metal, cleaned everything up, flattened out the metal and then re-glued the wood to the metal with Permatex weatherstrip cement, which is a strong contact cement.

well on the side note I will tell you what NOT to do...

Minwax Varnish stripper will happily strip away the paint from the patio furniture, the paint off the patio floor, it will bubble and crinkle the plastic on the trim (my bad!) but it will not even TOUCH the actual varnish on the wood trim...

Ah NOW I see....

The metal piece is completely missing off my trim section. No wonder it won't mate up with the dash underneath
