Tired or dirty injectors, worn or damaged pressure relief valve, clogged fuel tank vent, tired turbo, sandbags in the trunk...

lol i definitly think it needs the injectors cleaned. ill do that later possibly even replace em. would new nozzles be good enough?

, the tank vent is clogged a bit yes but should only cause an issue when too much vac is created no? its not too terrible.

the turbos pretty good. spools well pushed a good amount of air.

when i mash it in di from a full stop it stays in second. i belive.

at 25 it reads probably about 3600 so its off either way.

when it shifts (from second to 3rd i presume) it shifts at about 4700

4700 rpm in 2nd would be over 55mph. Your speedo never went that high. Maybe your TC is slipping like FI suggested, but the numbers align with a 1-2 shift.

mkay. dam. if my torque converter is slipping can that be cured with a trans flush and refill with good fluid/ new filter, etc?

I do agree now that you say this i probably have a transmission issue as well.

but these cars can pretty easily spin the tires stock. mine dose not even think about it.

p.s.

thanks alot man. i really appreciate the help in trying to get my car fixed.

that goes to everyone really that is helping as well.

Only on gravel, loose dirt, mud, ice and snow. They can do a one wheel spin on wet asphalt if you power brake.

larger turbo...intercooler...larger ip elements

[edit]

if functioning correctly can the stock IP provide enough fuel to make the car roll some coal?

Who said they spin the tires? The most I can manage is a healthy 1-2 chirp in a turn because of the open diff.

Winmutt has a DIY on adjusting the full load stop to make some serious power. You should have an EGT gauge before you go that far into the IP.

You can get into an overfueling situation if you back off or remove the ALDA.
