Environmental Controls default to defroster...
I understand that when the environmental controls have a glitch they default to defroster rather than providing the usual heat for mid level and footwells. How do I repair the environmental controls so that the heat blows on all levels. A/C does not work, but I thought I would deal with that in the summer. However, there is no time like the present...
Thanks, all. |

Diagnostic
Larry Bible sent me a great tech bulletin that has a diagnostic protocol for the climate control. If you shoot me a private message, I'll fax it to you monday AM.

Too hot defrost
Hey Greg,I had the same thing happen to me .I had been under the dash and I must have pulled off a vacuum line.Check for a major vacuum leak in the last place you were working on the car.If not I've got the name of an A/C expert,he gave me that advice and it sounds quite common.Good luck
