Unplug W210 Injection pump

It’s been too long… How does this connector come apart and go together? Is there a release on it?

Anything special or just force it closed until
It clicks?

Thanks!

If someone can post a source where you could look in the service manual that would help.

I don't own or have seen one in the person and the photo is too poor to tell. However, I looked up some pics of the fuel lines and my wildest guess is that the light-colored plastic piece is either removed or gets pushed one direction so that the black connector can be squeezed to open up the sort of jaws that are on it.

I took a 2nd look and am favoring the light-colored plastic piece gets pushed in a direction that allows the black part to be removed. It is likely that you push on the bottom of the U .

You might look at some parts sources that have pictures of the fuel hoses/lines and see if you can learn more from seeing them.

Also, before pulling any hoses off clean the area so nothing gets inside when the hose is removed.

I had similar guesses.

Mine is clean; I found the photo online.

I’ve tried just pressing it together and either I’m not pressing far enough to engage it ñ or there is a latch that I need to lock in to place.
