Injectors

after pop-testing, I took each one apart, put on a new O-Ring, put in the VG by the bottom part of the body, and tightened until they were very snug and not likely to leak again!!!! At the time, I didn't have any torque specifications, but pretty much used "tight as possible" without stripping the threads as a guide. Then I put back in my 2.4L engine, changed the return lines, changed the fuel filters (2 x) bled the system of air, and it ran perfect after that, not requiring any attention til it came to Florida, where I had to replace battery and the alternator. I sold to Pierre (cause I desperately needed a car with at least a repairable AC), he did minor work to it, including replacing the diodes on the back of the alternator and putting in the new battery, and he said it was getting 36 mpg around the Miami area!

However, if time and tools are a factor, I would trust Phil explicitly with a replacement set. I have never gotten bad parts from Phil, nor bad advice. So, depending on your setup and $$ situation, I would seriously consider what he can do for you. I don't know the cost of a "pop-tester," either. My friend had one at his shop, and it was really a two-person job, just because of the setup. But, in any case, good luck!
