ALDA cap

Hi

I removed the Alda on my 617a engine and looked for a way to cover the pin.
When i could not find any thing, I made this cap.

Very nice machine work. I had to settle for a black plastic metal table leg cap from Home Depot. I really like the one you made. It looks like it belongs there.

Sorry, I didn't want to copy anybodys work.
I didn't know about this thread, but a good idear to use hex stock.
Would have saved me a machining step.

It's hardly copying someone's work, it's a great idea, and I was searching for a way to cover up the hole when I found that one.
I like the round section on yours better actually, and you did a great job.
