Where to Buy Monark Injectors?

Other than through C. Sean Watts, where can I purchase Monark injectors? Fastlane doesn't seem to carry them and I don't see them at other online MB parts dealers.

This isn't going to be helpful - sorry - I'm having the same trouble over here. The only people I know of are Merlin diesel in the UK. I was sending regular emails to the sales chap in Germany just before Christmas saying "right who next"? Then "nope they won't help me either"...

So message to Wayne - stock these parts and I'll buy some from you even if they do have to fly round the world twice to get back to a little country just next door to where they were made...

Good luck ! I used to get mine from Sean Watts but he apparently is no longer selling them. Last I spoke to him in December 2012, he indicated he may (should) be up and running the first week of January 2012. Well, we are pushing February 2012, and no return emails and no return phone calls. So much for rebuilding injectors on the side. I am rebuilding with the Bosch's right now or Bosio's for the picky customer. I think Kent B. at ************** is selling them, but you will pay a signficant premium for them as compared to Sean's pricing.

While working on my cluster I noticed an id mark from Mid-Tenn a scrap yard that has gone out of business. I am supposing the 235,000 odometer reading, which didn't work five years ago when I bought the car, is not original. I am currently reviewing injectors for replacement of those on my 84 300SD.

Why these particular injectors? Quality? Longevity? Fuel mileage?

"Everyone" and I mean lots of people here say they are the best. I thought I'd try them. Bosch are apparently making their nozzles in India and rumour has it they aren't any good.

I get the impression Monarch nozzles are the Bilstein shocks of the injector world. Gorra give it a whirl eh?

Ditto, Mercedes Source. Got my nozzles there, they also have a cool injector rebuild kit that even comes with shims if you've got the dough. They seem like good people, always put candy in the shipping container when I order parts from them...

Mercedes Source only sells the nozzles; they don't sell the complete injector. According to them, Monark doesn't make 60x injectors...not enough demand. HOWEVER, I am sitting here looking at a box that I believe contained a complete Monark injector for a 602. Part number (i.e. the Monark part number) is 037 272 266....then 511 in small numbers. So I'm confused.

Part of the scarcity issue with Monark Injector Nozzles it the dominance that (Robert) Bosch has all over the World.

Go to any Fuel Injection Shop and you will see Bosch Certified. That also means Bosch expects the shop to order Bosch Parts.

Years ago when I spoke to C Sean Watts He said that Monark was reluctant to sell the Nozzles because they wanted a person to sell the complete Monark line of Products.

I know where to get the nozzles....I'm trying to find the complete injector.

According to the current Monark catalog, the following are equivalent:

Monark 037 272 266
Bosch 432 217 266

And that's the same as:

MB 003 017 29 21

Aren't these complete injectors, not just nozzles?

AUTOPART INTERNATIONAL. The guy who sold me the 91 300D that I subsequently sold....that's where he got new, complete injectors (not just nozzles).

whole nozzle or just injectors

I haven't taken mine out yet but I'm planning on replacing the injectors soon. Why would I want entire injectors instead of just nozzles?
