Does anyone happen to know if all 717.400 5 speed gearboxes are / were made by Getrag? Or were the ZF ones also given that number?

How can I tell the difference between a ZF and a Getrag? Having never seen one (you see?) I'm forced into asking these daft questions...

...I'm guessing the answer to the last question will be one has the ZF logo and the other has Getrag written on it but hey just in case there's another way...
