I noticed one of the return hoses on my 240d was weeping fuel oil through the fabric covering. I bought 4 feet of 1/8" hose at NAPA (fuel rated, not the windshield washer/vacuum junk) and replaced the return hoses. Is there any down side to using generic fuel hose?

I'm not sure how long it will hold up. Next time get the weed eater fuel hose they sell (of the appropriate size). It tends to hold up pretty well.

In a pinch weed eater gas line (available at every hardware store under the sun) works until you can get the proper stuff. Buy it by the meter (or two) and its not that expensive.
