I would not think so but it would probably result in early seal failure in the various components.

I plan to change it out but want to do the spheres at the same time if needed. Something is needed as it is very bouncy and feels totally undamped.

Bouncy ride = toasted accumulator pods (2) I have had two cars with SLS and had to replace the pods in both. Its easy and run a little over $100 each.
