Get well soon Charmalu!

I'm not sure how many of you guys know about this one of our resident Diesel Guru's has been recently been in hospital with heart related trouble.

EDIT - to read about the specific details please see post # 34 in this thread (Get well soon Charmalu!)

Charlie this thread is for you - to wish you a speedy recovery.

He's apparently been put on light duties and can't go off to do his usual desert PNP scavenging - he's not allowed to lift anything heavier than 10 lbs (that's 4.5kg in real money) for the next few days...

...in his own words he says he doesn't know how he'll take a leak. I really don't know what he means by that - but I guess there are a few here who know,

So get well soon Charlie - and I hope it will be more than just parsnips and sprouts for Christmas!

oil change ??

Hey Charlie.

While you are in the hospital, make sure you ask the nurses if you can help them with their next oil change. It's not suppose to be funny, but at least it might start a conversation and help you pass the time.

Take care and get well soon.

I've alo been banned from working on the 'Benz by the Chiropractor, the Physical Therapist, and my mother after a recent car accident (see signature). Nothing nearly as serious a heart trouble, but I understand not being allowed to work on cars (or mowers)...

I'm praying for you, especially when I can't get to sleep at night...

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Charlie!

Charlie is one of the true gentlemen of our forum. Always cheerful, always helpful, never grouchy.

Very very knowledgeable on the 123s too. Full of very very practical advice and ideas.

Happy holidays too.
