it should ONLY get bumped when someone purchases DIESEL at a lower price than the RUG is selling for...

I"ve not seen that in quite some time...

Highest I've found is a station about 25 minutes from home... diesel $4.59/gallon . $4.13/gallon diesel is a four-minute drive down the street, ironically.

Are you sure that's not $4.13? Even my heating-oil is higher than $3.13!

Happy Motoring, Mark

Well thanks to Google, a New Zealander can chime in:
About $1.50 NZD per litre for diesel...
4.67820115 U.S. dollars per US gallon
And for petrol around $2.14 per litre for 91 octane (equivalent to 87 your side?)
6.67423365 U.S. dollars per US gallon

Diesel vehicles pay road tax separately over here hence the cheaper price

Two stations close to my location with B20 at 3.69 and the other at 3.25
Reg Diesel runs between 3.79-4.09 local.

The one bio station is off of I-81 between Knoxville and Tri-Cities TN
not sure of Exit number, in case anyone is passing thru.

The Chevrons here is $3.69 and regular is $3.37ish, so comparable if getting supreme. Didn't think to check what 89 was costing, as just fill up and look at the sum (Volvo doesn't like low octane or high octane ).
