Regular Gas 1.52 and Diesel 1.63 at Gulf station in Flushing, NY

Not too many D station so those who have it kill you on price. The Gulf guy is the cheapest in my neighborhood.
D price for
mobil - 1.74
Exxon - 1.77

And this is regular D-40 or 42 nothing fancy.
These guys are across from each other on long island expressway
in Flushing area. May be they have a "business agreement".
I think I am going to complaint to NYC BBB one of these days.

Around here, in Westerville, Ohio (north east suburb of columbus) diesel is right around 1.395. Lowest octane gas is 1.395 and the highest is like 1.735 that I've seen. I am trying out Exxon right now, we just got a new station near my house and I figure that since it's a new place the diesel is going to be pretty fresh. It's definately better than speedway! I can't decide which gets me the best mileage, BP diesel, Exxon diesel, or Meijer diesel. Do these places keep a consistant cetane rating around the country? Or does it vary from station to station?

I pay 1.59/gal. for what Texaco calls Premium Diesel.
That is just as much as what I pay for 89 oct. premium gas.

Then again I live in Boston Central....I filled it up with cheaper diesel but the car ran so rough I didn't dare buy fuel from them again.
Otherwise it's pretty hard to find diesel around here..

I believe the Chief is building up the strategic oil supply so we can attack some of the people that supply us oil.

Diesel at my favorite station has taken three steps upward recently from $1.199 to $1.219 to $1.259 and just this morning to $1.299. I can still get gasolene for $1.199.

If you use fuel oil for heat you need to get it ordered and in the ground early this year in my opinion.

Not bad here...

Mobil Regular 87 Octane Gasoline: $1.45
Mobil Premium Diesel $1.37

This is in Tiverton Rhode Island. Diesel is cheaper than gas as the same stations. Places the provide a higher volume of fuel are cheaper. Cheapest Ive seen is 1.19 at a Crosson Station

Diesel was hanging in there at a steady $1.499 for some time, then a week ago it was up to $1.549, and today I saw the sign at $1.599. That's a nickle more than regular. This is on Interstate 5, smack dab in the middle of California.
I was roaming some back streets in the Bay Area today and stumbled onto the Redline factory. They sell to walk-ins, I bought a gallon jug of DFC. Should last me a while.
Ernie
