The Mercedes battery is worth it, in my opinion. Lasts alot longer.

The trip to the nearest MB dealer is nearly a 40 mile RT. MB battery @ MBCA pricing was $118.00 IIRC. Some (very few) items, I go with an equivalent, and save a few bucks too. We've been round 'n round with the quality of batteries, their few manufacturers, and their life expectancy, etc. around here on PP anyway. I suspect the aux. MB battery was original. If so, that's 7 years service. The two batteries looked the same, Tyler....... Don't know how long I'll own this '06 car before selling or giving it away too. But, I will remember needing this aux. replacement battery as the first expenditure necessary on this used car. Thanks for the observation/info.
