Its true, but I find the early w123's more a classic car stats then the 80s models....plus the color combo is so much nice...and there's no vacuum mess on the transmission

I say again: what else can you get for that kind of money? Sometimes it helps to look away from the perspective of this forum (whose inhabitants tend to be on the, err, Scots side of spending) and look at the world around. You can't get a worthwhile Volkswagen for that money. Not around here anyway.

Congratulations! You have come to the PeachParts Diesel Discussion, where we specialize in giving biased opinions based on grainy pictures, hearsay, and outright bias.
Before everyone shoots down his price, richclan here on the forum said that he got $11,800 for his 1985 300D with 60,000 miles. To quote from his post: Quote:

A lot more like; 'the blind leading the blind.' No info other than the miles (which may be untrue) and some silly pics. Yeah, it's worth a fortune.

The underside of that car is as clean as the underside of my 80k mile Chrysler that I wash the bottom of at least a few times a year. You guys are a tough crowd.
Remind me not to let any of you see the bottom of my 300D. I'd probably be banned from the forum. LOL
