Is that a bracket from a W126 350SDL? If so, then that is the OM603.970 engine, not an OM603.971 found in the W140.

Yes I'm running the w126 350sd/ sdl bracket (om603.970) which uses the 10PA17C. As far as i know when the om603.971 was introduced to the w140 body, it also received the larger 10PA20C compressor and bracket. I have that bracket as well so if my 17c ever needs replacing, i will upgrade it again along with a better condenser setup.
