I tossed My old cracked on in the Garage. Later I removed the Hub. A new Rear Wheel Hub is $300+ dollars each and some people try to use a Punch on the end where the Nut that needs the Special Tool goes; beat on it and expand/ruin it.

You might be able to eBay off the good Rear Wheel Hub at a later date. For some reason the Hubs are right and left sided???

Get a new Trailing Arm from VSTECH, he is closer to you and has good stuff.

Out here on the west coast we have lots of Trailing arms that are rust free for around $50.

The picture you posted is junk and not repairable. too far gone. they are just 2 pieces of stamped sheet metal, and hollow in the middle. then the cast steel hub assy is welded to it. new MBZ one`s use to be around $1200.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power

glad this came up ----I should inspect and salvage the rear trailing arms off of the 240D parts car --- then there will be source for them in this neck of the woods.

VSTECH --- take good care of him!!! We all know you don't need all of those trailing arms you have....
