Interesting! So then, I have two special option anti-sway bars then? The Peach said stock wagen is 25mm...

If less than 25mm, they were not correct, despite how many times it is said, unless the Peach is wrong. Now 24mm is not correct, but would fit a lot better than 21mm!

I am upset because I ordered Mercedes bushings believing they would fit, per the advice I got and my own understanding that Mercedes meant quality, which I now know no longer does. Do you need a video to prove neither Febi/SWAG or Mercedes will fit the two bars I have?

To which I want to avoid. Another reason I was hoping not to have to cast my own.

I did install the bushing. However, the bracket would not fully seat and ended up binding against the stud, which then became a pain to remove the bracket.

Yes, they are damaged. However, I used a 24mm wrench not to measure the bushing, but both anti-sway bars, and the wrench wouldn't fit, as about one millimeter too small.
Wow, I'm I being yeld at?

Sure a video would help. Maybe there is an issue with the install procedure.

Also regarding the cap binding, as I stated earlier, heating up the bushing would help.

I think the text is too small to read, as a lot of it is being missed. I never intend to yell, which would be using all capitalization.

Got to love technology! Tried loading the video on YouTube using Windows, but crashed. Grabbed the Macintosh which I find way more stable, and apparently the camera is too old for it to recognize it!

Having a lot of issues with the video, so going to do another that isn't 10 minutes long. Sorry about the wait!

Hopefully didn't ramble too much; way past the time I should be fast asleep... I am sure you are up late too, so thank you so very much!

Along with the cap orientation brought up by sleepstar, the bushing does not sit at horizontal plane. The bushing is at bit of a downward tilt in order for it to be seated properly against the firewall. Looking at the side of the installed bushing, the slit (or the seam) is at just over an 8 o'clock position.

Just to be clear, it is normal for the inner diameter of the bushings is made a bit smaller than the outer diameter of the swaybar. This is made because the rubber has a give to it and so this smaller diameter firmly clamps the bar in place. The bushings will eventually stretch over time and the hole would be widened.

Thank you so very much!

Is the font too big? I want to have folks understand my posts, as apparently they were not, because I said multiple times the inner diameter was the issue, you never stated it was to be that way? Would have saved several people wasted time and money... Oh well!

The bracket orientation isn't the issue. The issue is the hump sitting right in the cap.

Well as sleepstar stated, you need to just get the nuts started and then tighten them down. The bushing should smoosh into place. I basically did the same. Apologize if I have not been clear earlier.
