Ok,

So the general consensus I get is to address motor mounts, valve adjustment, and engine shocks. At this point I don't want to mess with injectors too much if I don't have to. I have read mixed messages on the engine shocks. I have heard it suggested the shocks only dampen the engine during shut down.

I am interested in eventually swapping the bigger flywheel in. I am just a little concerned that the spacing somehow would not work out as the bigger flywheel is thicker (diameter is the same). I am just wondering what are the proverbial devils in the details of this job.

I am aware that my motor mounts are in kinda rough shape, actually pretty bad. I do not know the last time the car had a valve job.

Any additional input greatly appreciated

Thanks again,
Hans

You've got your work cut out for you, luckily those are two relaviely easy and well documented repairs.

If you have two cheapo 14mm wrenches, propane torch, and grinder you can make your own valve adjustment wrenches.

For the motor mounts, spend the dough on a quality hex socket. If you round out the bolts you're in for a world of trouble.
