“The Nuclear Option” for glow plugs???

No, not plutonium tipped glow plugs.

While researching what type of anti-seize compound works best on dissimilar metals (like a steel glow plug into an aluminum head), I came across this:

http://www.bostik-us.com/files/tdsfiles/nspureni_Nuclear.pdf

I thought it was kind of funny, yet somehow appropriate to have “the nuclear option” for the 606 glow plugs.

"Group buy" anybody?

Seems interesting, I wonder what if any affect it has on torque values.

I have a bottle of this stuff:
ARP | Official Website | ARP Ultra-Torque

It'll be a while before I need any more.

Anything that displaces the Air and keeps it out of the threads is going to be a great aid in the dissimilar metal issue. Something that inhibits corrosion is also helpful.

unfortunately for us, plutonium tipping is against the nuclear regulatory commission's rules for use... however, we can use americium found in most any fire alarm, and build a small nuclear reactor...

Totally gives a different slant on "hot" exhaust gasses, doesn't it?
Also... the U.S. has been waiting since the 1950's for nuclear powered cars. (They were going to make the turbine powered ones obsolete.) But now in the day & age of hybrids, I see an opportunity. A Nuclear/Diesel hybrid! Brilliant. I've got to check the USPTO for any prior filings.

Funny, most people aren't even aware that there is a source of ionizing radiation in most smoke detectors. Can you just imagine the screaming, panic, and congressional inquiries if the dullards in our U.S. press ever decided to do an expose' on this horrible fact?

Yeah, but that's the stuff they used at Chernobyl. It's best not to skimp.

Anyone game to shell out $13,800 for a 55-gallon barrel? You could parcel it out in small increments like someone did with the official MBZ sunroof lube.

There was an story of a boy genius in scientific American I think, of a boy who actually built a nuclear fusion reactor using the stuff... Lots of scientific researchers and other assistants involved to get it done, but the kid designed and built the thing to produce ions for cancer research for his mother or grandma... He was 13! Cool story.
