That is the first I have heard of them. I need to give them a call and see what they would charge to rebuild a 4 speed I am going to get for my 240D since they are within driving distance. I would love to use Sun Valley but shipping seems too expensive.

I noticed several years ago that there where some really decent larger transmission re builders in New Jersey. They have good reputatiions but one should still check before commiting. I think they dyno test every rebuilt they do. They did a lot of Mercedes automatic transmissions as well. About two grand if I remember at the time.

The four speed manual transmission unless it has an obvious problem is so tough that I would not bother to freshen one up. Unless it has a zillion miles on it or syncro issues. Mercedes put that transmission behind their largest car gas engines. They seldom work hard if at all behind the diesels.

One of their guys signed up here a few weeks ago and pretended to be an enthusiast giving reviews on the place . I'd say that's about all I need to know, along with their return policy.

I'm actually surprised he's not already in here.
