Parking Brake Cable and Spring?

Does anyone have a part number for the aft parking brake cable (from turnbuckle to brake shoes), and the spring?

I asked someone and heard back it was 201 420 0785 and 126 993 0210, but wasn't confident it was the aft one.

I was under the car the other day - spring has pulled one of the coils open, and separately, the cable's rubber insulation has a rusty hole.

Not clear to me how much of the parking brake assembly at the hub has to be remove to get the new cable on.

My sources seem to be off line!

But here's a picture...

When the web site gets back working I'll be able to give the part numbers

(I need the spring myself)

The cables I've just bought - they were ATE originals.

To fit them you need to remove the rear wheels and the brake caliper

The disc

Cut a slot in a flat blade screw driver to help remove the retaining springs on the parking brake shoes

Home Made Special Tools, This is where members can share how they made special tools

Return springs

Adjuster

Shoes

End of cable

Screw at back

Here I've taped up the cylindrical peg to stop the cable from coming loose

Because I didn't want to loose it.

Ping off clips by prop shaft

Big spring

PS - Looking at your rear suspension job, did you buy the special bolt kit - 124 350 6706 - or did you use regular ones? I can see one of them is tapered...

Errrr I think I've got the bolts I need from the dealer for some of the parts - for the other ones I managed to find some TRW kits that came with bolts included.

I haven't actually got the bloody thing back together yet - but the parts are somewhere in the shed. I'll check tomorrow.
