Name that part

What is the correct name for this part?
I need to know so I can buy replacements and look up any DIYs about changing the end.
Thanks for any help.
This is on my 1983 300SD

Supporting joint ( at right end ) and supporting tube of brake support.
in the old days called the control rod.

That looks just like a left side guide rod, left guide rod end, and left side suspension bracket from a W126...only smaller

Guide rod:

Suspension bracket (I'd call it a guide rod mount):

That top picture is a good one...
I am using the exact nomenclature out of the chassis manual.
page 33.3-540/1 F2 of the chassis manual Vol 1.

Brake support rod mount

When ordering buy the Lemforder set from Mercedeshop/Fastlane. It has everything you need in the kit and they support us on the forum... You'll be amazed at the difference it makes.

Pretty easy R&R. I did a write up on it when I did mine not too long ago. Others have also done write-ups. Lots of info.
