Clutch questions

Hey PeachParts,

I am finally off of school and I have some time to work on my engine. I am drilling out stripped bolts on my OM617.952 flex plate and have a couple of questions.

1) I am not going to bother with balancing the flywheel with the flex plate. I dont have the time to do it, as the city is going to tow the car out of my driveway if its not running by the 23rd of this month.

2) About the clutch, do the pressure plate and clutch have to be balanced together? I did not mark where they were positioned, and I just read that they were balanced together. Is this going to be an issue putting it back together? I could always get a new clutch, but its rather expensive so I'd rather not.

3) Does anyone have or can take a picture of what the bolts that bolt the clutch to the f/w look like? They are lost in the shop somewhere and I cant find them.

4) Do I fill the transmission with oil from the same place where it is drained? I'm not sure where it is filled.

Any help on this topic is much appreciated.

-Josh
