New car down but Mercedes prevails & Wedding pics

About 6 months ago I posted about the 96 Taurus I drive for work that broke down and was totaled with a bad transmission at 73K miles. I used my car for about a week to get the mail for work. Now, the replacement car (2009 Saturn vue hybrid) was finally sent to GM after 4 visits to the shop with a CEL of "Service hybrid system" and harsh shifting. The car only has 55K miles and other interior plastic is fading and falling off. By Friday they will have had it for a week so its up to the 30 year old Mercedes to take up the slack.

And when not taking up the slack for sh***y work cars, she's lookin mighty classy as a get-away car for our wedding. Notice my wife's sense of humor with my groom's cake.

V/R,
Willson

Congrats

And that's a great groom's cake! I'm guessing your wife knows what she's getting into. Best wishes to you all.

Awesome! I bet your CD was bursting with pride to be the photo backdrop for your lovely bride. Congrats and best wishes to you both.

On my side, I have always had a remarkable talent for only meeting women who look at my car like it's some smelly overweight drooling dog about to drop a log on the couch.

Oh I understand. There's a reason she named the CD German B**ch. But we can agree that its probably more healthy to spend more time with your wife than with your car. I need to buy an hour meter.

Congratulations on your Wedding, you have a Beautiful Wife.
What better way to leave the Wedding than in a Classic 300CD Mercedes Benz.

Your Wedding Cake is great.

Wow and it seems to have come from the UK too! I thought it was just another marketing ploy; you know mothers day, fathers day, postman day, groom's cake...

...was your cake so fancy?
