Antenna up!

You may have a ignition tumbler which is just about to fail, or a column lock just about to fail. In either case, I'd recommend you fix it now. If you can turn the key, you can replace either or both without too much drama. Once either component totally fails, the drama and cost of repair go up dramatically.

Or maybe a bad key. I found that one of my keys is pretty worn and causes column lock issues too. I was randomly using two keys until I noticed it was really only one key causing the issue. Glad I have a new master to make copies from.

I'm aware of the perils associated with this. The tumbler works fine, it's the lock that is stiff once it's engaged. I've gotten into the habit of removing the key with the wheel turned 90* off center. Since I'm the only driver, it hasn't been a problem.
