She's Down...

The Mercedes suddenly was down on power starting early June; not sure exactly as a lot on my mind. Finally got the boost gauge installed about a week ago and only producing a couple pounds unless I really load it for a couple minutes then might hit 8 p.s.i.. So decided to try without the A.L.D.A. the only difference is spooling a tad faster and on the freeway sits at about 4 p.s.i..

So the question is what is going on?

If the turbo charger was bad, wouldn't it produce no boost? Why would it drop? Do they need to be continually adjusted?

Thank you so very much in advance!
