Yep, would have been a tricky deal to run a cable from the back in a wagon for a power roof, the way they had them designed at the time.
Mercedes S***** (not really allowed to talk about competitors here since the forum is sponsored by our friendly Peach Parts/Pelican Parts hosts) has good guides, a great youtube channel, and the on demand videos he is making are helpful and usually worth the money if you can't find good help elsewhere. However his parts prices are through the roof and he often sells sub-par aftermarket brands without disclosing it.
