I think I just got a pretty good deal.
Just picked up a 1990 300D 2.5 Turbo for a whopping $700.00. 200K on the clock.

So what is wrong with it?
Looks like an awesome car. I'd love to have that exact one....black on black....602 turbo.....W124....that'd be a sweet High MPG commuter....I consider my 300SD a bit thirsty, it only averages about 25-27mpg usually...though I do have soft snow tires on it right now.

Yeah, I'd say you got a good deal; $700 car with an interior like that is fantastic. Congrats.

NICE find,i found an 87 201 turbo for 800 in the summer of 08.The paint wasnt anywhere near what that 124 looked like but it only had 133k on the odometer.I would sell it and put it towards the w123 turbo coupe I have always wanted .......

Did 90's have leather wrapped steering wheels and wood trim on the doors? {I guess it would appear so, but for some reason I thought that came later}
How is the rust situation? Working AC? Any thoughts about wagons lately?
